ComSoc Bangalore chapter allocates USD 500 (equivalent INR) every year for travel support especially for students who are finding difficulties in arranging his/her travel to attend the conference/workshop in India and Abroad whose paper has got accepted in IEEE Conference technically sponsored by ComSoc society.
Please send such letter of request describing the following:
- Conference Name, date, location, etc
- Your paper details like title, authors and abstract (as appendix)
- The amount requested
- Your details
The applicant needs to submit the details in advance to Secretary with cc to treasurer for evaluation in ExCom meeting. The ExCom will decide the award and candidate will be informed accordingly.
The candidate has to produce a copy of boarding pass, confirmation of attendance/presentation of paper in order to get the award re-imbersed.
